Dear Parents:
 
We are so grateful to God that you have decided to send your child/children to St. Mary Catholic School.  On this page you will find the information you need to know to complete the school registration process for the 2009-10 school year.

We are doing school registration differently this year.  The new procedure is the fruit of much prayer and work by the parish finance council and school administration.  Conference meeting times are now closed but you can still register online. Please contact the school office to get the form to fill out, sign it and return with a check for registration fees ($150 per student).  Then we will send home a financial agreement.form for your selection and signature. 

Open enrollment has commenced.  If you have any questions, please call our principal, Dr. Diane Vida, at 815-338-3598 at your earliest convenience.

If you truly cannot afford the full school tuition next year, we ask that you read, review and complete the Private School Aid Service (PSAS) on-line form for financial aid before your individual registration meeting with Tara or Dr. Vida.  You will need to apply using code 4955 and there will be a $21 application fee.  When PSAS returns your information to our school, our financial aid committee will review the final report and then make a recommendation.  You will be contacted for a second meeting to determine the amount of financial aid you will receive for the 2009-10 school year.

We are also asking each family to consider a tax-deductible donation to the Guardian Angel Fund.    We believe that a Catholic education is a gift that all children should be able to receive.  We hope that many of you will be able to assist others so that their children can benefit from our excellent religious and academic programs.

We hope that these new procedures will assist us in helping you send your children and others to St. Mary Catholic School.  All of this information will help us plan for the next school year with a realistic budget.
